Founder • Kristie Raymond
With more than 30 years of experience in the casting and talent management industry, founder Kristie Raymond is the Yukon Cornelius of casting.
She can find anyone.
And as the co-owner of a Boston-based modeling agency in the 1990’s, she provided brands with talent described as “younger, hotter and sexier” in a market that had not seen a new agency open in over 20 years.
But something wasn’t quite right.
She went on to launch Viewfinder Productions in 2004, where she laid groundwork to support productions of all sizes with their casting, location scouting, crew coordination and budget management needs.
But still, something was missing.
Then, while contracting with a major toy manufacturer, Kristie realized what was missing.
Diversity. Lack of representation in the overall messaging.
For Kristie, it was so clear to see – that it wasn’t clear to see at all. But in recognizing the faces that weren’t being seen in ad campaigns, she was able to not only imagine, but also create a way to let them be seen.
And so, partnering with countless brands to look beyond the expected and find people who truly represent all of us, HumanKind, LLC was born.
Today, HumanKind, helmed by Kristie herself, works tirelessly, using our creative powers for good in the marketing and entertainment industries, working with clients that don’t just create images, but who want to create meaningful impact. Creating content that doesn’t talk at us, but with us…that lets us see clearly and that represents us…all.
